This series of wearable pieces (made to fit me, of course!) was inspired by the women in my family. I spent many hours combing through family photographs and sketching hundreds of dresses before finally deciding on what to design. I blended their personal sense of fashion with my own, and this is what happened!
Everything you see started out as white yards of fabric(except the grey skirt). I hand dyed, screen-printed, or silk painted everything. I sewed it all together myself, some from patterns and some by draping on the form.
